Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
This policy describes what FundDriveGo actually collects and does with it, in plain language. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet — treat it as a working draft to have reviewed before this platform processes real donor payments at scale, not as finished legal counsel.
Who this covers
FundDriveGo is a fundraising platform used by schools, booster clubs, and parent-teacher organizations ("organizations") to run peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. This policy covers three kinds of people: the organization admins who run a campaign, the donors who give to one, and the participants (often students) a campaign is raised on behalf of.
What we collect
From organization admins
Name, email address, and organization name. There is no password — sign-in works by emailing you a one-time link, so we never store a password for your account.
From donors
An email address (to send your receipt) and, optionally, your name and a public message. You can give anonymously — when you do, your name is never shown on the campaign page or shared with the organization beyond what Stripe requires to process the charge.
We do not process or store your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor; we only ever see the last 4 digits and the outcome of the charge.
About participants
Campaign participants are often students. To limit what we hold on a minor, a participant profile is deliberately minimal: first name and last-initial only — never a full last name. A photo is included only if the organization uploads one. It is the organization's responsibility, not FundDriveGo's, to get appropriate parent or guardian consent before adding a participant's name or photo to a public campaign page — the campaign-creation form requires the organization to confirm this before publishing.
How we use it
- To operate the campaign page, process a donation, and send a receipt.
- To send an organization admin account-related email (sign-in links, payout and dispute notices).
- To send an optional reminder email to a participant's registered contact, nudging a low-progress campaign — never more than the frequency limit built into the reminder system.
- To review an organization for compliance with our acceptable-use policy before their campaign can go live.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the vendors that make the platform work:
- Stripe — processes every payment and payout. Stripe's own privacy policy governs what they do with payment details.
- Resend — delivers the transactional emails described above (receipts, sign-in links, notifications).
We don't share data with data brokers, ad networks, or analytics platforms that track you across other sites.
Cookies
FundDriveGo uses one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in to your organization's dashboard. It's required for the dashboard to function and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
How long we keep it
Donation and payout records are kept for as long as the organization's account is active, and as needed to meet tax, accounting, and payment-processor recordkeeping requirements after that. An organization admin can request deletion of their account by contacting us; some financial records may need to be retained regardless, per Stripe's and applicable law's requirements.
Your choices
- Donors can always choose to give anonymously.
- An organization can remove a participant's photo or update their listed name at any time from the dashboard.
- Anyone can request a copy of, or the deletion of, their personal data by emailing us (below).

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FundDriveGo after a change means you accept the updated policy.
